Why ETTER exists

Barefoot footwear already exists in many forms.

There are thoughtful brands, solid ideas and well-crafted shoes.

But there was always a personal sense of almost.

Not a flaw, but small details, proportions, decisions that didn’t fully reflect how we understood movement, comfort and design.

Over time, that feeling became clearer. And eventually, it became a question we couldn’t ignore anymore.

What would barefoot footwear look like if we built it entirely from our own perspective?

That question is where ETTER began.
